Job Description

Full-time Salesperson to represent manufacturers of Apparatus and Ambulances to fire departments in Western and Central PA. Our office is located in Moon Twp, PA near the Pittsburgh Airport, but you can be located anywhere in our territory of Western PA.

Rare opportunity to join an established Fire Truck Dealer and represent one of the top brands in the industry. We represent Spartan, Smeal, LTC, Rescue 1, Fouts Brothers and PL Custom Ambulance.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

Prefer 10+ years experience as a firefighter or EMT, preferably in a leadership position

Must have experience on truck committees that executed a purchase

Prefer experience as a Dept Engineer and knowledge of apparatus and pumps.

Prefer prior experience selling Emergency Apparatus or selling other equip to Fire/Rescue Industry.

CDL strongly preferred

Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Must be able to use computer, smartphone and online tools.

Must be capable of working independently and with self initiative

Must have high level of verifiable integrity, excellent references and be eager to succeed

DUTIES

Contact fire and ambulance departments

Establish industry relationships and contacts to support sales

Sell Fire Trucks and/or Ambulances to Departments or Municipalities within the assigned territory

Create bids and proposals using proprietary software to customize apparatus or ambulance specs

Travelling to the various departments to sell the trucks - Most departments will be within 10-15 miles

Interface with Loose Equipment Sales Reps to coordinate customer contacts

Attend occasional industry trade shows (FDIC, Harrisburg and Monroevile, etc)
