WATER & SEWER UTILITY FOREMAN

Public Sewer Service is the leading full service sewer & water main company. Servicing all of North Jersey for over 60 years, we specialize in water/sewer main repairs, jet and vacuum work, sewer line inspection and sewer/drain cleaning.

Public Sewer Service currently has a Full Time position available for a capable working foreman in our underground sewer and water main division. The Utility Foreman will lead crews on both residential and commercial service line replacements/repairs, pipe bursting, ground piercing, catch basin and manhole reconstruction, as well as water main breaks and grease trap replacement.

Our services are typically underground plumbing emergency repair type of work which includes turn-key landscape, asphalt and concrete restoration where necessary. An assertive candidate with a solid piping and construction background can excel in this position through basic industry company provided training. This key person will work closely with management, field crews and customers to ensure the safe, timely and profitable completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

Jobsite safety

Direct oversight of crew

Operation of various trucks, excavation and construction equipment

Installation of hydraulic trench shoring and trench boxes

Water and Sewer line repair

Asphalt and Concrete restoration

Qualifications:

CDL A Preferred

Seasoned Crew Leader

Proficient Equipment Operator

Capable Pipe Fitter

High School Diploma or GED
