1st Shift is Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities include; supplies and maintains job specific material in our plastics manufacturing and assembly environment in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring material levels at each press, removing finished goods from pressroom, stocking supplies, and helping to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Supplies specified raw material (s) and packaging supplies for scheduled production runs.

Accurately documents changes in material inventories and finished goods according to company policy/ procedure.

Has, acquires and maintains knowledge of proper locations, mixing basics and specifications of raw material (s) and supplies needed for production runs.

Cleans and stores auxiliary equipment according to manufacturer’s directions/ company policy.

Monitor work orders to assure correct materials are being used during production runs

Maintain appropriate levels of raw material to the production floor during the shift

Maintains and operates fork lifts according to company policy

Package and label product in accordance of the standard operating procedure.

Supply correct packaging needed per work order requirements

Identify and label finished production

Scan finished production into inventory

Shrink wrap and move finished production to the correct locations

Perform line clearances

Communicates any material problems to the Process Technician/Shift Supervisor/ Group Lead

Reads and interprets the manufacturing process instructions, visual aids/drawings (e.g. microscope and magnifying lenses).

Proper handling of all material, parts and equipment to prevent damage and loss of finished product. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for identifying quality problems in materials.

Properly utilize evacuation system to minimize exposure to hazards.

Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift.

Good housekeeping and safe working habits.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

EDUCATION: High School diploma, equivalent or trade school graduate and/or minimum experience.

EXPERIENCE:

6 months experience in a manufacturing environment

Basic Materials and Injection Molding Knowledge

Ability to use scales, calculator, pallet jack, fork lift, box truck, hand tools, and ladder

Ability to work in IQMS
