Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Special Educator who will work closely with students who have diverse learning needs, providing personalized support and instruction to help them reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Assessing students' abilities, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Implementing effective teaching strategies.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Provide specialized instruction in various subjects or skills, including reading, writing, math, and social skills.

Stay updated on best practices, research, and laws related to special education.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, IEPs, and related documentation.

Complete the required reports and paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.

Relevant certification or licensure in Special Education.

Strong understanding of various disabilities and special education laws.

Flexibility and adaptability in instructional approaches.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students with special needs.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements.

Knowledge of assistive technology and specialized teaching techniques.
