Gates Flag & Banner Company, Inc. is a family-owned company, specializing in the sale of flags and banners, and service and installation of flagpoles. In business since 1870, Gates Flag & Banner Company, Inc. has locations in Clifton, NJ and Forest, VA, and is one of the largest retailers of flags and poles in the Northeast.

We are looking to expand our Sales Team and require an individual who is willing to learn and grow with

our company. This position will require initiative, flexibility, and the willingness to dive in and help wherever is needed. This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be based out of the Clifton, NJ office, with 2-3 days per week of daily travel upon completeion of training.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate new business revenue, utilizing a variety of lead-generating programs.

Learning our large line of products, including stock, custom and flagpoles.

Onboarding new customers, with a focus in flagpole installation and custom products.

Attending networking and tradeshow events to promote and provide information about Gates Flag & Banner Co.

Making onsite visits to discuss recommendations for customers, regarding flagpole and custom needs.

Utilizing our Accounting system to Quote, Order and Invoice customers.

Utilizing our CRM to track and manage customers and projects.

Ability to function successfully in a team-based environment.

Prior experience in estimating and/or contractor bids, a plus.

Compensation Package Includes:

Training Package up to 6 months

After Training, Base Salary + Commission Structure

Mileage paid at Federal Rate (currently 67 cents/per mile)

Parking/Tolls paid with submission of receipts
