Job Description

Cleaning service seeking to hire experienced cleaning technicians. The positions will be part time employment 25-30 hours weekly Very likely to get more hours even 40 hours based on performance and learning all duties required of the position. Benefits package available after probationary period.

MUST BE RELIABLE WITH OWN TRANSPORTATION AND VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND PASS A DRUG SCREENING AND BACKGROUND CHECK THROUGH SHELBY COUNTY GOVERNMENT. THESE REQUIREMENTS AREAS ARE MUST. Please only serious inquiries only.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms.

Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.

Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.

Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.

Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.

Cleaning windowsills and windows.

Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.

Maintain Carpet/janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.

Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.

Maintain vending closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.

Restock vending supplies in appropriate storage area

Request cleaning and vending supplies as necessary

Maintain clean vehicles/vans weekly

Other routine maintenance duties as assigned

Floor Tech Responsibilities:

Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas and other areas.

Moving furniture before and after cleaning.

Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping and waxing floors.

Measuring chemicals correctly.

Operating chemical dispensing units.

Labeling chemicals correctly.

Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.

Keeping inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.

Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.

Assisting with hazardous waste collection as requested by supervisor.

Floor Tech Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred.

Floor maintenance experience preferred.

Completion of drug test.

Completion of on-the-job training.

Undeterred by exposure to chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and biohazard waste removal such as cleaning up blood ect with proper procedures and PPE strictly enforced for safety of all employees.

Resilient to noise.

Physically agile.

Excellent communication skills.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED

Six months or more related experience.

Valid Tennessee Drivers License/State ID required.

Must pass Drug Test Screening.

Must pass Background Check.Company Description
