Responsibilities:

At Mohle Adams, Bookkeeper is an exciting and rewarding position with many opportunities to learn and grow. A Bookkeeper works directly with Managers and Partners. A Bookkeeper has a variety of duties, assignments, and projects. Responsibilities include

Enter and post transactions utilizing knowledge of debits and credits by reconciling bank statements

Enter account statements to reconcile accounts

Prepare payroll tax returns on a quarterly and annual basis

Compute and record numerical data

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Quick Books

May require a small amount of travel in the Greater Houston area

Perform other accounting tasks, as needed and/or assigned

Develop relationships with clients and client employees

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

Previous experience with QB Online and Desktop a must

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Collaborative attitude working in a team environment while also being able to self-direct work load and work alone to get the job done

Excellent and clear communication skills

Bachelor or Associate degree preferred, major in Accounting preferred

5+ years of CPA firm or Bookkeeping firm experience
