Job Details

This position is a technical lead role specialising in Microsoft 365 technologies where you will need to act as an engineering lead for project delivery.

You will responsible for developing new and improving existing solutions using Microsoft 365 technologies such as Windows, Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Office 365 and Teams.

This role sits within our wider Chief Information Office (CIO) within the Colleague Engineering team. You will be leading the design, implementation and service transition of solutions working in collaboration with our operational teams.

You will be troubleshooting complex problems, including preview and early adopter technologies, with a determination to understanding root cause and supporting engineers within the team to do so

You will seek out opportunities to remove technical debt, drive operational improvement and incident reduction to improve overall colleague experience.

Skills we would love you to have

Successful candidates will have prior experience acting as an engineering lead working on project delivery and/or experience in people management

You will have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 technology and specialist experience in Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows device configuration / management.

You will have previous experience working in an Agile / Sprint environment and be proficient in supporting with the discovery and sizing of work to enable yourself and the team to predictably deliver

It is essential to have excellent communication skills in this position as you will need to collaborate with technical stakeholders and business stakeholders up to executive level

You will bring an understanding of mobile application management for Android and iOS devices

You will be proficient with the designing and execution of test scenarios in a time pressured environment.

Salary – Attractive salary based on experience + car allowance (pay reviews also completed each year)
