Inside Sales Rep - Manufacturing Industry, 76177

Direct Hire

Salary: $68K - $73K annually, plus company performance bonus eligible

Office Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00

Hybrid Role: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

How will you impact our client's organization as an Inside Sales Representative on a daily basis?

Research product information for sellers as needed.

Assist in product selection.

Assist as needed with new customer set-up.

Aid sellers in pulling histories and build spreadsheets and sales proposals.

Act as an expediter for critical inventory issues or back orders by identifying viable alternatives and presenting them to the customer or Customer Service Representative.

Assist Customer Service Representatives when they have technical questions.

Advise on product cross reference options.

Communicate with Customer Services Representatives to move bulk tank shipments as needed.

Ensure customers do not run out of resin or have a tanker scheduled to deliver that will not fit in the bulk tank.

Research and respond directly to customers who have technical questions over the phone.

Help customers with questions on product selection, mixing and application.

Assist seller’s smaller accounts when needed or as requested by seller.

Manage assigned account list.

Exceed Sales and GP sales goals for assigned accounts.

Enter quotes.

Manage Smart Sheets Leads including web, trade show and leads.

Assign leads to sellers, self or appropriate person.

Ensure that leads are followed up on within 24 hours via email or phone.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field working with customers.

Prior hands-on experience and composites knowledge.

A familiarity of composite suppliers and products along with the use and applications of these products.

High School or higher-level degree.

SAP experience a plus.

Must be proficient in MS Office software, including Word and Excel; requires ability to learn internal database and software systems, i.e. SAP.

Able to travel when assigned.

Superior oral and written skills are required to communicate at multiple levels within the organization, with customers and industry leaders.

Proactive communication and follow up is essential to manage suppliers and customers.

Self-structure and a high degree of organizational skills are required to manage multiple products and market segments in a broad geographical area.
