They are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector II in Stockton, CA.

A Day In The Life of a Quality Inspector II

As a Quality Inspector II, you will be responsible for the inspection of components, subassemblies, and finished products. You should also be able to determine the proper sampling plans based on Component Specifications, Inspection Plans, or Customer supplied requirements and must be able to work independently with minimal guidance.

Essential Duties of The Quality Inspector II

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished components, subassemblies, and products;

Provide input for inspection methods and improvements related to the job;

Assist Quality and Engineering in investigations of process-related quality issues;

Provide samples and communication to QA and Production Management concerning quality issues when required;

Organizes work and storage areas for efficient workflow and to showcase the quality of work in the facility;

Understanding and knowledge of the use of basic inspection tools;

Communicate effectively to team members;

Detail-oriented, able to stay on task, and self-motivated;

Conduct internal department audits;

Be compliant with safety procedures and policies.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED;

Certification in precision inspection and other related discipline’s helpful;

2-3 years of related experience;

Manage time efficiently; have good planning and organizational skills; be able to apply good decision-making skills; read/write English; basic mathematical skills; basic computer skills.
