The housekeeping role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the assigned area within the organization. Housekeeping personnel play a vital role in creating a pleasant and safe environment for both staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.

Ensuring all rooms, public areas, and workspaces are clean and tidy.

Notifying management of any damages or deficits.

Adhering to all company policies and procedures regarding health and safety.

Coordinating and communicating with other departments to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently.

Assisting with laundry and linen management as needed.

Stocking and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment.

Handling and resolving guest complaints regarding housekeeping services.

Collaborating with maintenance and other staff to ensure a clean and well-maintained facility.

Assisting with special cleaning projects as required.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a housekeeping or cleaning attendant.

Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.

Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.

Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and furniture.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Attention to detail and thoroughness in performing duties.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification in housekeeping or related field is a plus.
