ROLE DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Effectivemonitoringofdaytodayoffshore project activities and providing operational expertisetomarine spread towardssafe execution of offshore domestic & international projects.
Ensurestatutory& tradingcertificationforowned vesselsremainvalidandinitiatetimelyactions includingliaisingwithflagadministrationandclassificationsocietiesforcomplyingwithit
Monitoring&reviewingofvesseldaily project progress reports,voyagereportsandsafety&environmentmeetingreports
Provide guidance to Vessel Master for DP operations, mooring / anchoring operations, towing operations, heavy weather navigation, vessel ballasting / de-ballasting operations and critical operations
EnsureISM,ISPS and MLCcompliances,withproperimplementationofoffice/vesselplans and procedures whileexecutingtheroleofADPAandACSO
Ensurecompliancewithapplicablestatutoryandotherrequirementsbyvesselsandtake timely corrective and preventive actions when necessary
Preparing owned vessels for OCIMF OVID & OVMSA compliance and arranging for vetting inspections of owned vessels in consultation with Head - Marine Operations
Briefing / Familiarisationofvessel Master,Senior Deck & Engine Officers,Junior Deck & EngineOfficers&ratings priortojoining vessels with theCompanySafety Management System, Company Policies, vessel operations during project and specific charterers' requirements
Execute the role of Port Captain when required by the client.
