Network Security Architect/Analyst

Overview:

ESO Consultants is currently seeking a Network Security Architect/Analyst. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing network security policies, plans, and procedures, as well as detecting, investigating, documenting, and reporting network security violations. The Network Security Architect/Analyst will also support the development and implementation of security awareness and virus management programs, participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, and assist in making formal risk assessments related to network security.

Job Title: Network Security Architect/Analyst

Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and manage network security policies, plans, and procedures, including security architectures, firewall policies, intrusion detection systems, and security data collection systems.

- Detect, investigate, document, and report network security violations, intrusions, or other inappropriate use.

- Support the development and implementation of security awareness and virus management programs; evaluate security products and test security systems performance; assist in planning, implementing, and testing disaster recovery procedures; participate in making formal risk assessments related to network security.

- Participate in implementing and maintaining Windows Active Directory security.

- Support user community and help desk to resolve network security issues.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls, Cisco Access Control Lists, Dynamic, Static, and LAN-to-LAN Virtual Private Networking.

- Experience with Cisco Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Cisco Secure ACS, RSA Secure ID, RSA Envision SIEM, Checkpoint Firewalls, McAfee Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, and McAfee Enterprise Antivirus.

- Knowledge of Enterprise Malware Detection and Removal, Data Loss Prevention Systems, System Forensics, and Data Recovery.

- Familiarity with Active Directory Design and Group Policy, Server Operating System Hardening, IPSec and SSL VPN Configuration, Enterprise Operating System Patching/Reporting, and PKI Infrastructure Design and Auditing.
