Position Summary:
Functions as an integral member of the inter-professional team
Has extensive experience in psychological assessment, testing and treatment in an outpatient setting to children, adolescents and their families
Key Qualifications:
Registered Psychologist, Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
Experience working with children and adolescents with psychiatric problems, and their families
Experience in psychological testing of children and adolescents with psychiatric problems and in providing feedback to families
Experience in providing a range of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, to children, adolescents (and their families) with psychiatric disorders
Experience in providing consultation and supervision in cognitive behavioural therapy and other treatment modalities to staff on the inter-professional team
Thorough knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics and systems
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills combined with the ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team
