Job Description
Busy real estate development/property management company in Norwalk CT looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented hire with strong written and verbal communication. We are looking for someone who can work full time in the office.
Prior real estate accounting/bookkeeping or similar experience a plus.
Notary Public a plus
Experience with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive)
Experience with DocuSign
Experience with Yardi Systems a plus
Quickbooks
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Direct support to the owner including any special projects as needed.
Coordinating repairs and maintenance including scheduling, progress tracking, interface with in house general contractor as well as outside vendors and tenants to execute repairs promptly.
act as primary liaison with tenants, vendors and various agencies to ensure compliance with all regulatory and related requirements such as building and elevator inspections, fire sprinkler certifications, inspections, signage requirements, vendor and tenant insurance status. This includes distributions of associated notices, forms and progress tracking/record filing.
Receiving calls and electronic messages from tenants, vendors and agencies and follow up with tracking and resolution.
Retrieve mail, sort, distribute and scan as necessary into OneDrive/Yardi
Entry of rent payments into Yardi
Entry of invoices into Yardi
Bank deposits
provide accurate and efficient lease admin practices.
Upload lease agreements into Yardi/OneDrive and monthly review of leases to ensure accuracy
General Admin tasks such as filing, data entry and correspondence.
Knowledge and understanding of AirBNB properties and practices: Secure client reservations and scheduling of maintenance and cleaning of units along with filing state4 sales tax and compliance.
