Patent Associate - Electronics and Telecommunications

Draft patent applications, including claims, specifications, and drawings, adhering to legal and technical requirements.

Work closely with inventors, engineers, and attorneys to understand inventions and translate technical concepts into clear and concise patent documents.

Communicate with patent examiners to address office actions and other correspondence during the patent prosecution process.

Conduct prior art searches and analyses technical literature to support patentability assessments and patent drafting.

Provide strategic advice on patent portfolio development and management, including evaluating the competitive landscape and identifying potential licensing opportunities.

Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in electronics and telecommunications.

Qualifications:

Incumbent to have bachelor’s degree in electronic & telecommunications Engineering, or a related; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred.

Strong technical background in electronics and telecommunications, with knowledge of relevant technologies such as circuit design, signal processing, wireless communication, etc.

Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with patent databases and search tools for prior art searches.
