Job Description

This is a 100% remote part-time position for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MedTech Leadership who will serve in an educational capacity. This role will be responsible for creating course outlines, developing assessment activities, reviewing lecture videos and learning materials for an online program. This is a great role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science, biomedical engineering, healthcare administration, or business administration.

5 plus years of extensive work experience in the medical technology industry, preferably in leadership roles such as senior management, executive positions, or strategic planning.

5 or more years of experience with direct involvement in the development, implementation, or oversight of innovative medical technologies, AI applications, or digital health solutions.

5 or more years of experience navigating regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and quality assurance protocols specific to medical devices and technology.

Effective communication in a MedTech setting across functional roles and stakeholders.

Must be willing to submit to a background check.

Competencies

Experience in an inclusive leadership environment; or talent management in the field of healthcare.

Experience creating and implementing strategies across all sectors of MedTech fields.

Solid understanding of the use of medical technology including advancements in AI, digital health, and emerging technologies.

Intermediate knowledge of industry best practices related to consumer vetting, market analysis, and strategic planning for medical device organizations.

Intermediate knowledge of quality assurance principles, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards relevant to the healthcare sector.

Experience with customer-oriented projects, management, and deploy of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Create assignments, activities, knowledge checks, and quizzes.

Review assignments.

Review draft and final video edits.

Review assignments and video content from existing courses and determine how to best repurpose it for this program.

Identify additional resources.

Write or edit connective text for videos and activities.

Time Commitment:

Estimated 8 hours per module.
