Based at our fully equipped workshop in Bibra Lake, you will be responsible for breakdown repairs & major rebuilds on a wide range of heavy mobile equipment, road transport equipment, mobile & fixed crushing and screening plant. About you:

- Heavy Fabrication trade qualification – AU/NZ recognised

- Minimum 3 years recent experience in heavy/structural steel fabricating with exposure to AS/NZS 1554.1

- Core experiences in Oxy Acetylene, stick, MIG, Flux core welding

- Working on mobile crushing and screening equipment

- Experienced in bucket, blade and tray repairs/rebuilds

- Fabricate structural steel and plate work to a high standard

- Ability to interpret drawings, but also have the ability to work without drawings

- Must be a team player, and ability to work individually when required.

- Driver's Licence essential (Ideally HR)

- Understanding & commitment to safe working practices

- High attention to detail and be someone who takes pride in their work

- Ability to meet tight timeframes or schedules

- Prepared to undertake work in field conditions

-Ability to mentor & train apprentices
