Senior Software Electrical Engineer

Requirements / Duties: Eligible for registration as Pr Tech Eng.

BEng Electrical / BSc Electrical Engineering (Preferable, but not mandatory). Eligible for registration as Pr Eng (Preferable but not mandatory). 2-3 years working experience on mine Equipment.

Calculate/specify equipment/equipment ratings for long lead items.

Detailed software design for PLCs, HMIs and other high level programmable devices.

Participate in internal and customer design reviews.

Assist in compilation of the Operational and Maintenance manuals.

Offer technical support to the Production department.

Train employees in the Production department.

Train employees in the Testing department.

Provide assistance during factory testing.

Perform functional testing during factory testing.

Facilitate customer factory acceptance testing.

Offer technical support to the Services department.
