CSP's Sales, Marketing & Administrative Practice has partnered with a full-service independent insurance agency on the hiring of an additional member to join their growing team. Located in Baltimore, this individual will be aiding Sales Executives/Account Executives and clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Specific service and marketing responsibilities are required in this position.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and technical support to Sales Executives/Account Executives specifically in analyzing client needs, coverage forms, and quotations
• Schedule appointments with clients as requested and occasionally accompany Sales Executives/Account Executives on prospect and client meetings
• Manage the application process, renewals, and invoicing of accounts
• Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals
• Responsible for audit reviews of policies and policy verification
• Assist clients with questions regarding claims, coverage, account/policy information, etc.
• Participate in and attend meetings
Key Qualifications:
• College education with a minimum of 3 years insurance experience or a minimum of 7 overall business experience
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately
• Property, Casualty License (procured after 90-day probationary period)
• Knowledge of insurance products and usage’s, insurance markets, insurance rating and underwriting procedures
