What will your role be?
As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and excellence of our products. You'll meticulously examine materials for quality and defects while overseeing proper utilization of resources to enhance productivity.
Activities:
Conduct both routine and non-routine Quality Control Inspections across various stages of production, including in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, and finished products
Analyze test results, comparing them against established specifications and control limits, and provide recommendations on data suitability for release
Maintain accurate documentation essential for testing procedures, such as data capture forms, equipment logbooks, and inventory forms
Participate actively in investigations and report of out-of-specification results and failures and proposing effective corrective measures
Perform diverse checks, including administrative, dimensional, visual, and condition assessments, to ensure product conformity based on quality and technical guidelines and customer’s specifications
Handle quality notifications promptly, reporting any nonconformities and verifying equipment compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards, aligning with customer satisfaction, production deadlines, and budgetary constraints
Be adaptable to additional tasks or changes in job scope driven by evolving business needs
What skills and qualifications are we looking for?
High School diploma or Associate degree in Quality Assurance
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the aerospace inspection industry
Strong arithmetic skills and mechanical aptitude are desirable
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Demonstrated proficiency in using Quality Control Inspector tools, including gauges, micrometers, torque testers, and hand tools
Physical ability to perform job duties, including sitting, using hands for handling, reaching, occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, and close visual inspection
Work environment typically quiet with occasional moderate noise levels
