Collaborate/support with Magna Seating Innovation group on new PU developments

Collaborate/support with MSCT Chemists on current and developing PU systems for Magna

Collaborate/support with Magna manufacturing locations on Chemical Systems only as needed/required

Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other business partners for existing Chemical Systems

Research to identify new opportunities both Internally and Externally in the area of PU Chemical Systems

Use skills in project management and leadership to develop new contracts while maintaining/growing existing ones

Provide key information required for preparing quotes for new products/customers

Adhere to local and federal regulations

Adhere to Divisions expense budget

Continuous Improvement initiatives for saving activities within the MSCT Division

Some travel required (<25%)

Promotes Magna’s Corporate Constitution and compliance to the Magna Employee’s Charter

Adheres to company systems and policies (ISO9001, 5S, Employee’s Charter, and Operational Principles)

Ensures conformance to all established policies, procedures, and rules as defined by Health and Safety systems, in compliance with OSHA, and Magna Corporate

Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process, and quality system

If there is a reason to believe that any equipment or physical condition of the workplace is likely to endanger the employee or co-worker, and/ or is in contravention of the Occupational safety and Health Act (OSHA), notify management immediately

If there is reason to believe that any equipment, physical condition of the workplace, or assigned task is likely to jeopardize customer’s requirements, internal requirements, or the quality of product and/or equipment build, notify management immediately
