Manufacturing Engineer

Duration: 1-year contract.

Description:

Insight Global's client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to sit on-site in the Chattanooga, TN area. They will be responsible for the design, implementation, and refining of manufacturing processes for EV battery production. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for process control and standard operating procedures. Analyze production data to identify trends, efficiencies, and areas for improvement. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective action plans. Optimize workflow to increase productivity and reduce costs without compromising quality. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

At least 3 years of engineering experience - specifically in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience working in an EV Battery manufacturing facility.

Experience working as a Project Manager or overseeing scope, budgets, schedules, etc.
