Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning phase of our semiconductor manufacturing project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and planning the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems and are designed, installed, tested, and operate according to the requirements of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a detailed commissioning plan for semiconductor manufacturing systems, including turnover / handover strategy.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met.

Sets up and define the interfaces between engineering and system completions to ensure continuous alignment.

Ensure engineering work package schedule aligns with commissioning schedule.

Ensures alignment with Project Engineering, Construction, Quality, Procurement and Start Up/Operations.

Manage creation and own the commissioning reporting structure inclusive of all aspects.

Oversee the installation of equipment and systems to guarantee adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards.

Conduct system tests, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to resolve any problems arising during the commissioning phase.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies necessary for project completion.

Manage the commissioning team, assigning tasks and responsibilities, providing training as needed, and ensuring staff adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.

Communicate regularly with senior management and stakeholders about the progress of the commissioning process, including presenting detailed reports and updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a commissioning role within the semiconductor industry.

Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.

Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal regulations and requirements.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
