Job Summary:
Under general supervision, manages the daily operations of the branch office. Has overall responsibility for profitable and compliant office operations. This includes managing and training staff, all phases of business development, credit review and extension, and managing debt collections.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, directs, coaches, trains, and manages branch personnel on a daily basis
Achieves branch objectives for total accounts, profitability, and percentage of delinquent accounts
Ensures all branch actions are in compliance with state and federal regulations and Company policies regarding lending, collections, repossession, cash management and employment actions
Ensures Company’s SAWS methodology is followed for evaluating loan applications
Develop and maintain good customer and dealer relationships with continuous, positive contact Achieve account gain through proven loan judgement and effective and continuous customer and dealer solicitation
Ensures branch delinquent debt is minimized through collection activities
When debt moves from collections to repossession; coordinates acquisition and disposal of repossessions, accurately estimating the recovery values of the automobile and ensuring they are sent for the most advantageous disposal means
Maintains accurate, concise records; completes daily, weekly, and monthly reports; follows established procedures for customer records
Prompt and regular attendance is required
Job Requirements:
Completion of Manager Training Program AND/OR previous finance experience
Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations
Maintain valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation to use for work
Computer literate with strong Excel skills
Physical Requirements: This position works in an office and consistently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This position frequently operates a standard telephone. This position frequently performs outside work requiring driving, walking on uneven ground, climbing small stairs. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Educational Requirements: Four year college degree preferred OR equivalent finance experience.
