As the Chief Plant Reliability Engineer, you’ll lead critical efforts to ensure equipment integrity, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance reliability. Collaborating with a diverse team, you’ll help maintain safe and efficient plant operations. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work with the Reliability Engineering team. This position is onsite and it is a safety sensitive position.

Leadership:

Be the primary technical authority for piping systems, pressure vessels, and stationary equipment.

Lead changes to plant equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Integrity:

Ensure adherence to PSM Mechanical Integrity standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Collaborate with Mechanical Integrity Engineers and Inspectors for equipment inspections.

Update maintenance and mechanical integrity procedures.

Troubleshooting and Analysis:

Investigate on-site equipment issues, document findings, and prevent recurrence.

Provide emergency maintenance support.

Management:

Lead equipment upgrade and replacement projects.

Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs.

Relay reliability concerns to management and personnel.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical)

Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience in a production, manufacturing, or plant environment subject to OSHA 1910.119 Process Safety Management (PSM) regulation.

Experience managing complex systems, including piping networks, pressure vessels, and stationary equipment.

Experience in reliability-centered maintenance, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.

Knowledge:

Expertise in piping and pressure vessel design, maintenance practices, and inspection techniques.

Proficiency in real-world engineering analysis.
