Job Summary

ACT is seeking a strong CNC Machinist/Programmer with Mastercam programming experience as well as previous horizontal and vertical machining experience to program, set-up and operate our equipment. We have a strong mentorship program and believe strongly in collaboration between all departments and career development.

Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Must Have Qualifications

High school diploma/GED

3-5 years training or equivalent commensurate combination of education and experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to program with Mastercam required

Ability to machine complex components with horizontal and vertical machining centers

Knowledge of and experience with G&M codes

Demonstrated foundation in geometric tolerancing and dimensions

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions

Ability to read blueprints and bills of material

Computer experience to include proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP systems

Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask
