Amotec has been retained on a search for a General Manager. This is a strategic leadership position with responsibility to lead, direct, and manage a manufacturing site near San Jose, CA. Our client is a leader in the development and manufacture of complex components used in the Aerospace industry. The General Manager will hold responsibility for cost/P&L, safety, quality, supply chain, materials and operations while driving results for KPI’s.

Additional Responsibilities:

Manage an integrated manufacturing operation including Production, Engineering, and Human Resources, Accounting and Quality

Direct senior leadership, own P&L, budgets, drive KPIs while creating new business initiatives

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve profitable growth above market rates and support overall corporate objectives

Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment, delivering results

The Ideal Candidate will have:

BS in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline

6+ years of investment casting experience

A savvy, hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset who wants to be a part of the rapid growth of a startup and recognize the unlimited earning potential

Excellent communication, collaboration, customer service, sales and negotiations skills

Strong analytical, planning, forecasting, and budgeting/financial skills
