Plant Manager
Description:
We are currently on the look out for an Automotive Plant Manager for an on-site role based in Detroit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures document and data control at the plant level
Manages and maintains the quality system; provides the resources necessary to maintain the quality system
Responsible for customer satisfaction
Oversees the plant's production, technical, engineering, launch, quality, supply chain, information technology, and environmental health and safety activities
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
Offers the resources required to maintain the system's quality while managing and maintaining the environmental management system
Responsible for the safety of employees, visitors and contractors within the site
Conducts management reviews of the quality and EM system
Plan plant activities in conjunction with departmental managers to ensure that the overall manufacturing goals are met on schedule and within budget
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development
QUALIFICATIONS:
Authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field
Minimum 5 years’ experience with plant/department responsibilities
Background in working with Automotive Metal Products
Strong team building, decision making, communication and people management skills
Familiarity with industry standard equipment and corresponding technical expertise
Extensive experience working/communicating with customers and suppliers
