RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and simulate innovative physical layer wireless communication algorithms for WiFi7/8 MIMO transceivers.
• Implement link-level system models and perform comprehensive performance investigations to allow performance sign-off and enable RTL development.
• Collaborate with systems architects, digital designers and firmware developers to realize algorithms with power and area efficient implementation.
• Travel might be required to work directly with remote engineering teams.
REQUIREMENTS
• MS/PhD in EE or other closely related disciplines. We have multiple openings, and all require 2+ years of relevant experience in the industry.
• Solid educational background and industrial knowledge in DSP and communication systems (such as filter design; channel modeling; synchronization; detection/estimation; channel estimation; optimal receivers; equalization; decoding; OFDM; MIMO; RF/A impairments mitigation; etc.).
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling (floating-point and fixed-point) and link-level simulation
• Strong analytical/mathematical skills (linear algebra, random processes, optimization theory, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills for project work in a team oriented international environment
• Prior experience in WiFi MIMO baseband design is a big plus.
