Job Title: Active Directory Engineer
Schedule: Hybrid 4 days on-site, 1 day flexibility
Location: Full-time opportunity in Phoenix, AZ or Columbus, OH
Responsibilities:
• Engineer enterprise-level designs for Zero Trust Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Azure AD Hybrid for incidents, changes, and access management via multi-forest\domain.
• Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
• Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Zero Trust Active Directory Management environment.
• Serves as the first line of escalation support for domain technology issues that cannot be resolved by tier one and two support.
• Lead and contribute to multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all Domain controllers, Active Directory resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying Active Directory Health
• Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
• Participate in revolving On-Call escalated business critical outages.
Qualifications:
• B.S. degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in IT Systems Engineering/Active Directory
• 3+ years in Azure AD
• Expert Knowledge with Zero Trust Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy Management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid), Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) are preferable.
• Must have deep and thorough understanding of Active Directory monitoring best practices.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure and server preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies
• Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, Advance Active Directory security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems.
• Knowledge of GPO Admin and Change Auditor
Professional Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 7 years overall IT experience with 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies.
• Desired experience working in a fast-paced Industrial environment with a career track record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems in the area of technical expertise including hands on solution development and implementation experience.
• Team Player with a “can do” attitude with proven leadership, communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills. The role requires significant interaction with many different teams across a global company.
• Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills, one who can lead as well as follow. Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner.
• Project Management knowledge and understanding of Scrum and Agile workflows.
