Title – Manufacturing Robot Wrangler

Base – $30-50 per hour + benefits

Location – Burlington, New Jersey

*US Citizens/Green Card holders/TN only*

They are a robotics manufacturer in the food and beverage industry looking to revolutionise physical industries such as food, transportation and manufacturing.

Their mission is to transform the food assembly process through intelligent robots.

Founded over 4 years ago, they have experienced rapid growth and are looking to continue to expand their operations in the US.

Role Summary

As a Manufacturing Robot Wrangler you will primarily be working on the food assembly line for their customers, assisting manufacturing supervisors and operators to use robots effectively in their day-to-day.

Key responsibilities

Coordinating and carrying out inspection, repair, and maintenance tasks on robots.

Troubleshooting, debugging, and repairing medium complexity issues onsite.

Carrying out scheduled Preventative Maintenance.

Installing robots at customer sites as well as training customers on their operation and maintenance.

Maintaining customer contact reports, training records and installation and maintenance records.

Identifying, communicating, and appropriately documenting product issues, complaints, and improvement suggestions.

Coordinating onsite schedule for yourself, other technicians and vendors in alignment with customer expectations.

When necessary, escalate problems to appropriate team members for solutions.

Supporting the development and refinement of maintenance processes and tools.

Cultivating positive customer relationships and interactions when visiting their site.

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and policies, as well as a clean and safe working environment.

Experience required

3+ years of field experience in robotics, IoT, or similar hardware or software industries.

Ability to work on a flexible schedule to support customer schedules, including some nights, weekends, and on-call hours.

Availability to travel to customer sites when necessary (75% of the time).

Availability to attend 1-month initial onsite training in San Francisco, California.

Full driver's license and willingness to use own car for work purposes.

Ability to do heavy lifting as necessary (30 lbs).

Experience troubleshooting, debugging and repairing electrical and mechanical instrumentations.

Experience with precision alignment tools and techniques.

Working-level proficiency in Spanish.

Bachelor's degree or above, preferably with an Engineering major.

Nice to have

Experience creating SOPs and checklists.

Familiarity with Python and Linux.
