Analytica is seeking a part-time Contracts Administrator Intern to assist its contracts department with all activities associated with the contracts administration process in government contracting. This is a remote internship opportunity and a great opportunity to learn the vocabulary and processes of government contracting covering health, monetary, and national security missions.

The Contracts Administrator Intern will work under the direction of our Senior Contracts Manager and CFO to develop, negotiate, and evaluate contracts to ensure that all parties involved are complicit with the terms of the contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the contracts department with the administration of contracts, which includes activities such as:

Tracking, logging, and administrating contracts and associated information throughout the contract lifecycle;

Tracking and ensuring compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and other applicable requirements;

Establishing and administrating contractual relationships (non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, etc.) with business partners to enable cooperation in the pursuit of business opportunities;

Handling and administrating internal contracts activities (reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements with vendors, etc.);

Support negotiations of claims, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes or conflict resolution

Help ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met

Maintain an organized system of digital records

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge or interest in legal requirements involved with contracts

Knowledge or interest in contract negotiations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors

Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

Strong ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment

Ability to perform research and analysis as needed
