EVONA are working with a pioneering aerospace company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of speed and efficiency in air travel. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and innovative engineering solutions, they are committed to revolutionizing the future of transportation. With a focus on supersonic flight and advanced propulsion systems, the company aims to develop next-generation aircraft that redefine the possibilities of air travel.
Roles & Responsibilities:
You will spearhead improvement initiatives aimed at achieving, sustaining, and enhancing safety, reliability, and process capability objectives through project leadership.
You will provide input into the design and development of new and existing hardware and take a lead role in the manufacturing and integration of our current and next-generation vehicles
Applying process improvement methodologies and tools (e.g. value stream mapping, problem-solving, visual management, etc.) to reduce manufacturing build hours and quality issues; increase production rates; and remove waste from complex processes
Manage projects and execute tight deadlines while effectively communicating to and influencing stakeholders.
Train others in operations practices by leading process improvement workshops; providing training and information briefs on key topics and demonstrating by implementing solutions in the area
Work with design engineers to evaluate designs for manufacturability and test requirements, then implement in a rapidly evolving production environment
Implement tooling and test solutions
You will contribute to design reviews acting as an expert in design for manufacturability, design for testability, yield improvements, supplier capabilities assessments, quality control, etc
You will be the primary point of contact for the production of non-conforming products, troubleshooting, root cause, failure investigations, and corrective actions
You will work on process and tooling development/validation for new products
You will prepare engineering documentation necessary for the transition from development to production including assembly procedures, test procedures, standard operating procedures, schematic diagrams, bills of materials, suitable alternate parts lists, and mechanical drawings
Lead continuous improvement efforts of the established product
