Company Overview

The Central Pension Fund (CPF) is based in Washington, D.C. and is one of the largest multiemployer pension funds in the United States. CPF is a mission-driven organization that serves hundreds of thousands of participants, retirees, and their families throughout the United States. As discussed below, CPF is embarking on a multi-year technological and organizational business transformation project to enhance and improve the services it provides to participants, retirees, and their families.

Job Description

CPF is seeking a Business Analyst to support a large, Agile multi-year enterprise software implementation effort that includes development, and deployment of a new pension administration system, data cleansing and migration activities, as well as transformative business process improvements.

This position will assist in the gathering, analysis, and validation of requirements, participating in business process improvement activities, and working closely with business subject matter experts to become a surrogate for those SMEs throughout the project. It will include representing the organization as an SME in design and test sessions with the vendor. In addition, this position will work closely with our business subject matter experts to assist in the development of SOPs and Training.

This position must coordinate closely with our business units, PMs, test engineers, and senior management.

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise software implementations.

• Experience testing in an Agile environment.

• Experience developing SOPs and Training Materials.

• Experience with business process modeling.

• Ability to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with clarity at all

levels of management.

• Self-starter who is motivated to learn and grow and possesses insight to advance a project.

• Strategic thinker with a strong ability to problem-solve and manage requirements effectively.

• Strong ability to handle project timelines effectively.

• Ability to rapidly learn new software tools, as required.

• Experience with Visio, MS Office, JIRA (or similar ticketing SW).

• Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the pension or benefits industry.

• Experience with BI tools and SQL.
