MECHANICAL/QUALITY ENGINEER

A&A Coatings a Thermal Spray Coating company of South Plainfield, NJ is seeking to immediately fill the Full-Time position of a Mechanical/Quality Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create job routers in ERP system based on manufacturing process requirement.

Create supporting documentation for routers (i.e., drawings, process control sheets,etc.)

Interpret customer flow down requirements from Purchase Orders and Drawings

Coordinate Masking Department.

Incoming, In-process and Final Inspections as required

Perform calibration of QC instruments as required.

Process NCARS and SCARS (investigate root cause, document NCAR, resolve and bring to a solution in concert with Operation Manger, Process Engineer and Operator and ensure that long term corrective actions are closed out).

Participate as a key contributor on project to establish the robust process and production plan

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Associate Degree, Mechanical Engineering

Working knowledge of Micrometer and Caliper reading

Bilingual (Spanish and English) is required.

1-2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing field a plus.

2-3 years of quality assurance experience a plus.

Thermal spray Training will be provided.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to learn and adapt

Any other duties which will be determined by the Management of A&A Coatings

HOURS: 7:00am-5pm M-F

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
