Our client, in the elevator service industry is looking for a Senior Collections Specialist to join their team. This role is hybrid with 4 days a week in office located in Scarborough.
Reporting to the National Credit & Collections Manager, the Senior Collection Specialist is responsible for performing customer interactions and follow-ups that ensure payments are received as per the established terms and in accordance with the Cash Collection and Aging Targets.
Requirements
3 + years of collection experience
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office, intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
Previous experience in Construction industry would be an asset
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively
Ability to take initiative and work proactively
Ability to negotiate in tactful and diplomatic manner using superior oral and written communication skills
Deadline and performance driven
Detail oriented, efficient and accurate
