Landscape Technician

Job Description

KB Lawn Care and Snow Removal LLC. is looking to add new members to its team. KB is a relatively small but growing company that is looking for hard working individuals that are passionate about or are interested in learning about landscaping/lawn care and take pride in their work. Experience is not necessary, although experienced individuals will be compensated based on amount of experience and the job role they fulfill. Although this is a job posting for general labor, growth within the company is a great possibility given you have the right attitude and a great work ethic. Some of the responsibilities and required abilities are covered below.

Responsibilities:

Caring for the grass, trees, plants, and hedges by mowing, pruning, or trimming them, as needed.

Watering and monitoring the growth of the greenery.

Extracting and disposing of invasive plants and weeds.

Fulfill daily jobs tasks as instructed. Some common daily tasks may include mowing, weed whacking, moving wheelbarrows filled with materials, digging, planting plants and leveling topsoil among many other tasks.

Treat company equipment with care and report when equipment is damaged or broken.

Show up to work on time and in clothes that are suitable for the job and weather.

Come to work with a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

Have a physical fitness level to work an 8-hour labor intensive day.

Be able to work with others well but also be able to work independently as needed.

Valid driver's license is a must.

Be willing to follow instructions given by foreman.

Be able to work in all weather conditions. We try to limit working in extreme heat, rain, or cold, but sometimes it is unavoidable.Company Description
