POSITION PURPOSE:

As a General Medicine Staff Physician, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver exceptional naturopathic patient care and empower healthcare leaders of tomorrow. Through expert patient management, fostering a thriving business, and mentoring naturopathic medical student and residents, your role is fundamental to shaping the future of naturopathic medicine.

Salary: $60,000- $120,000+ per year. (base salary of 60k plus uncapped yearly incentive plan).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Medical Professional:

Collaborate with our clinic leadership team to promote Medical Center services and drive patient engagement.

Develop strategies to optimize patient volume and revenue, maximizing the impact of our services.

Champion a culture of quality improvement and patient safety, driving excellence at every level.

Clinical Education:

Mentor and supervise students and residents during the clinical rotations, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Update and refine clinical course content to align with evolving best practices and program outcomes.

Provide timely feedback and evaluations for students and residents, guiding their development as future healthcare professionals.

Patient Care:

Serve as a leader in our Medical Center, delivering compassionate and seamlessly coordinated patient care.

Act decisively in medical emergencies, demonstrating expertise and unwavering professionalism at all times.

Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols, setting an example for all staff, faculty and students.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working seamlessly with students, clinicians and staff to achieve shared goals.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Active and unrestricted Arizona license to practice naturopathic medicine, license to dispense, and valid DEA number

Maintain current ACLS and BLS certificates

MMR, TB, Hepatitis B, and COVID-19 documentation, as per Sonoran University and Medical Center policies

Complete mandatory annual trainings including, but not limited to, HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA, TB education, etc.

Minimum three years of post-graduate healthcare experience preferred.
