Responsibilities
An Assistant Project Manager at House of Roland, Inc. is responsible for supporting the project team in an effort to secure a successful project completion. Responsibilities will grow as your experience with House of Roland, Inc. grows. Assistant Project Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals
· Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution
· Liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain project schedule and efficacy.
· Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
· Review & process RFIs
· Assist in budget/bidding preparation
· Maintain project logs
· Become familiar in reading drawings, specs and contract documents
· Assist with project close-outs
· Attend various coordination meetings
· Document and maintain field records
· Assist in punchlist completion
Qualifications
Working knowledge of construction industry, drawings and specifications are a plus
A Bachelor's degree in a field related to construction management is preferred
Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution
Expert-level experience with computer operating systems, such as Microsoft and MacOS
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
Construction experience or experience in similar field
A team player with leadership abilities
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Commitment to quality and attention-to-detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Proficient with industry standard computer skills and software (MS Office, Excel & Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
Experience with Construction Management software
Transportation
Must have reliable transportation to get you to your designated work site, which can be anywhere in the Chicagoland area. A valid driver's license, car insurance and access to a vehicle is recommended for the nature of this position.
Salary/Benefits
$60-$80,000 yearly based on experience

House of Roland’s typical work hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Workload may cause this time to fluctuate and even necessitate longer hours, including weekends.
