Robert Half has joined forces with a well-respected company to look for a team-oriented Bookkeeper. If you have worked with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then you may be the right candidate for this Bookkeeper opportunity. This is a contract position for a bookkeeper who wants to work in the Coarsegold, California area.
How you will make an impact
- Maintain and balance general ledger
- Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents
- Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Balance accounts by reconciling entries
- Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions- Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
- General Accounting experience preferred
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- General ledger experience desired
- Proven knowledge of Quickbooks Online
- Data entry experience highly desired
- Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
