Annual Salary: $40,000 - $45,000

Location: Union, NJ

Hours: 40 hours weekly

Position Overview: Full-time position, performing general maintenance and cleaning duties at all sites as determined by supervisor. Individual will be expected to work within a team concept.

Essential Job Functions Responsibilities: Full-time position, performing general maintenance and cleaning duties at all sites as determined by supervisor. Individual will be expected to work within a team concept.

• Specific Job Duties;

o Support maintenance staff with any basic repairs at identified Bridgeway sites.

o Maintenance duties to include light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and sheetrock/spackle repairs.

o Cleaning duties to include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping and waxing floors and steam clean carpets. And cover other team members as needed for coverage.

• SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

o Familiarizes self with the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies and procedures which may include some familiarity of other departments within the agency

• DECISION MAKING:

o On a regular and continuous basis, exercises sound judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results having an impact on people, costs and/or quality of service within the functional area.

Requirements:

• EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

o High School diploma or GED preferred

• EXPERIENCE

o General Maintenance and cleaning experience a plus... Any time associated with experience.

• DRIVER’S LICENSE, VEHICLE

o Valid Driving license preferred o No more than one moving violations in the past 12 months o Vehicle may be required
