Position Responsibilities:

Performs as the Warehouse Supervisor, utilizing Global Combat Support System -Army (GCSS-A) Warehouse, Regulations/Policies, related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Supervise operations for the Installation Supply Support Activity in support of lAD divisional Supply Support Activities, the Army Field Support Battalion - Bliss (AFSBn - Bliss), other tenant units, and Logistics contractor operated mission, Fort Bliss, TX.

Comply with environmental Laws/Regulations, comply with Army Regulations/Policies and Global Combat Support System -GCSS-Army (Plant 2001 Warehouse) Regulations/Policies, related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Responsible for daily operations of the AY1 warehouse in providing customer service to all agencies supported by the ISSA with daily stock control functions and maintaining communication with the Accountable Officer, COR, and higher.

Performs as supervisor for all aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to a depot level, or installation level supply Work usually covers multiple classes of supply and must be capable of dealing in many commodity areas.

Performs employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel reporting.

Reviews and approves timesheets.

Screen applicants and conducts interviews for open positions.

US Citizen

High school diploma or equivalent

18 years of age

Valid state driver's license

Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance to perform duties and attend classified meeting and briefings, this is a minimum requirement as the senior supply operations supervisor.

Preferred a Bachelor or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent civilian/military service schools' graduations or prior supervisory experience (normally 8 plus years) to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related task.

Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of a 92A, 920B

The ideal candidate must be extremely customer focused and capable of long-range planning, analysis, and the ability to understand budgetary constraints while processing the following additional requirements traits.

Must have several years of experience in and with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade or above levels.

Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using US Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS) and computer automation equipment.
