Senior Engineer - STAMP VT Simul

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

4 -10 years of experience in Stamping Simulation and Process / Method Planning activities and capable of handling Stamping related activities individually.

Good knowledge in Formability simulation of BIW structural body parts.

Good knowledge in creation and optimization of stamping process / operation sequence / method plans.

Able to propose countermeasure or part shape change to Product design based on simulation results.

Knowledge of Stamping die structure (Tandem, Transfer, and Progressive).

Hands on experience in Autoform. Skill in quick dieface creation using Autoform Die designer will be an added advantage.

Hands on experience in NX with surface modelling capability.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct formability simulation (using Autoform) for critical BIW structural stamping parts (Under Floor, Upper Body, and Door) to understand stamping feasibility concerns and propose countermeasures to product design team. Dieface to be created using Autoform Die Designer or NX.

Provide stamping process optimization proposals to product design team during the product design development phase (digital lots).

Prepare optimum stamping process and yield ratio (using Autoform Stamping Adviser) for all BIW stamping parts.
