Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Canteen Cashier at our company canteen. The primary responsibilities of this role include issuing tokens to employees, collecting cash payments, and ensuring accurate financial transactions throughout the day. The ideal candidate will possess excellent mathematical skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet employees courteously as they approach the cashier counter.

• Issue tokens to employees for use in the canteen, ensuring the correct amount is provided.

• Accept cash payments from employees and provide accurate change as needed.

• Maintain a tidy and organized cashier station at all times.

• Record transactions accurately in the cash register system.

• Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to management.

• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of tokens and cash float.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from employees.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.

• Collaborate with other canteen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.

• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with cash register systems.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Candidates residing in or near Khajaguda, Lanco Hills, Hyderabad are preferred.

Working Hours:

8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Flexible scheduling may be required)

Salary Range:

INR 12,000 to 15,000 per month (Salary will be commensurate with experience)
