This position is part of the ePowertrain department in the BMS High Voltage (HV) systems team, which has the responsibility for BMS Software development, Verification Validation on LV/HV HIL
This is an emerging, exciting technology, and the right person will help invent the future of transportation in the industry
This engineer will be developing validating innovative intelligent BMS functions focused on reliability safety by collaborating with global business units
Role Expectations:
1. Development and validation of Application Software for Battery Management System for e-Trucks and Buses
2. Handling an ECU project, Task Planning, tracking, holding status meetings with stakeholders ensuring deliverables completed as per the requirements
3. BMS ECU Software integration, Build, Validation Verification and Delivery
4. Responsible for acceptance testing, FMEA, Regression test, analysis and resolving of issues reported by customer
5. Responsible for adhering to the Software Development Process
6. Responsible for coming up with Innovative new concepts and seeing the projects to Completion
7. Flexible to travel globally based on business need to participate in various supplier discussions, technical and management discussions
Qualifications
4- 6 years industry experience with B. Tech/M. Tech in Electrical Engineering or any associated disciplines
Essential Experience:
1. Extensive experience in eDrive and HV Systems
2. Excellent exposure in HV Battery Management system functions and Hands on in ECU SW development life cycle
3. Experience with Setup and operation as part of Mature Software development platform in par with ISO standards
4. Expertise in Control system algorithm / Model based development using MATLAB Simulink, state flow with adherence to modeling guidelines
5. Excellent knowledge of UDS Protocol (ISO 14229)
6. Expertise in VBA or Python Scripting
7. Experience with Vector Toolchain - Candela Studio, CANoe + DIVA, CANape
8. Experience in HIL testing and exposure to various HIL testing tools
9. Experience in handling various Automotive diagnostic Flashing, parameter changes etc.
10. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
11.Demonstrated experience working in a highly collaborative environment, bringing colleagues together to accomplish a common goal

Preferable Experience:
Model based development tools like Matlab-Simulink, Stateflow or ASCET.
Experience with Electric Vehicle ECUs with knowledge on Transmission, e-axle, e-Motor, HV Battery functions
Expertise in CAN communication, Autosar BSW, SAE j1939 standards, Diagnostics in Automotive domain
Good exposure to configuration management tools like PTC integrity, SVN, Jira, GIT and requirement management tools like DOORS
Experience in hardware debugging and setting up Test Bench set-up s and HIL setups
Experience with Data based approach for Component Development
Demonstrates good business acumen, strong inter-personal relationship skills, excellent communication and team work skills
Intercultural experiences and knowledge of German/Japanese language also useful
