CB Marble Craft Ltd is currently seeing an experienced CNC saw operator who can operate and programs machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts to help us meet the growing demand as CB Marble Craft Ltd. expands. CB Marble Craft Ltd. is an actively growing company that offers growth opportunities. We are looking for full time candidates to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

Analyze job orders and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations required for each project.

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations, such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, planing, honing, broaching, grinding, or other specified machining tasks.

Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of machined parts, ensuring adherence to specifications.

Prepare etching solutions as needed and immerse metal parts or workpieces to remove unwanted portions according to project requirements.

Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting for signs of wear or damage.

Input codes specifying speed, feed, and toolpath cuts for computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.

Collaborate with engineering or design teams to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes for improved efficiency and quality.

Monitor machine operations closely to detect and address any deviations from specifications or issues with tooling, materials, or programming.

Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.

Document work performed, including machine settings, measurements, and any adjustments made during the machining process, to maintain accurate records and facilitate quality control.

Qualifications

Secondary school, or equivalent

Completion of a two- to three-year apprenticeship program or 3 years of relevant trade experience

Over 3 years of experience reading blueprints

3 years of relevant work experience as a CNC Saw Operator

At least 2 years of work experience working with IT and computer operations

Job Type

Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week
