Customer Services/Dispatcher (Speak Chinese & English)

Job Description

We seek a reliable Customer Service/Dispatcher to act as a communication point for work orders through emails and calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages, and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator (English & Chinese) and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency situations. You must be able to multitask as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Responsibilities

Receive emergency and non-emergency emails and record significant information

schedule appointments and coordinate shipments

Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries

Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance

Use phone and/or computer to send truck or other field units to appropriate locations

Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule

Provide status to the customers and update details/requirements

Enter data in the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information

Qualifications/Skills

Excellent communication skills (English & Chinese) to collaborate with others under any type of condition

Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and customers' requests

Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties

Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time

Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances

Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment

We have been expanding from SSF to San Leandro, CA for transportation services to warehouse services. We are working to provide customer services from Transportation and Warehouse. We coordinate the schedule for our customers from the Port of Oakland to our warehouse and final destinations.
