Established manufacturing facility in Garden Grove, CA is now hiring an experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team. This is a full time permanent position with excellent stability, compensation and benefits package.

Ideal candidate will be an experienced and well rounded with strong generalist skills and effective people & culture strategies.

This role is responsible for supporting the company through proper staffing, legal compliance, and creating a positive and safe employee work environment. Will partner with management for all employee-related issues.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintaining positive employee relations

Managing records and budgets

Ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies

Participating in accident reviews and monitoring compliance.

Will conduct orientation and onboarding programs for new hires,

Manage employee recognition programs, and lead employee engagement champions.

Developing staffing strategies, manage the internal job posting process and partner with agencies to align staffing with business needs.

Will prepare and facilitate HR leadership training, maintain HR records, and advise management on legal/policy compliance.Requirements:

BS Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Industrial Employee Relations; equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree.

3-5+ years’ experience in benefits, employee relations, or as a human resources generalist.

Experience as an HR leader.

Professional certification is a plus.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Union defense strategic planning.

Knowledge of all state and federal employment laws.

Understanding of OSHA requirements and regulations and preventative measures for minimizing accidents.

Understanding of state unemployment processes and guidelines.

Sound interview and evaluation skills.

Ability to act as an advisor/consultant with management team through outstanding communication skills.

Effective conflict resolution skills.

Ability to develop and manage employee development processes.

Basic understanding of state unemployment processes and guidelines.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access (databases) and payroll/personnel systems.
