The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is seeking a Salesforce CRM Administrator to join the Internet Technology Team.

We are seeking a proactive technology professional with Association Management System knowledge who will help to maintain and improve our Fonteva/Salesforce platform.

NAEYC is in a rebuilding and re-envisioning phase.

Reporting to the Director of Internet Technology, the Salesforce Administrator will play a crucial role in the rebuilding and strengthening of NAEYC's technology.

You will provide day-to-day support of Salesforce, including user administration, system configuration, report and dashboard design as well as the delivery of training, configuration, maintenance, and support required to ensure information is effectively used in decision-making and operations.

Key Responsibilities Lead Salesforce platform administration; configure Salesforce/Fonteva or related platforms, including automating processes using out-of-the-box tools; present as the "Superuser" expert for specific business units, acquiring a deep understanding of multiple business processes across the organization to provide support and guidance for optimum system or application use, to include Salesforce declarative development methodology (page layouts, fields, views, validation rules, formula fields, FLOWS and advanced functions specific to the platform). Provide Salesforce Admin perspective and input during brainstorming and "Art of the Possible" innovation engagements with stakeholders and targeted solution discussions with the Director of Experience and Transformation.

Provide support and maintenance for internal environments, including customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and Flows; manage user access and permissions, identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems in Salesforce, escalating and tracking issues appropriately.

Standardize, cleanse, and upload external data onto the Salesforce platform; ensure accuracy and data integrity; that all code/solution development follows internal best practice standards for version control Lead all go-live activities (planned for January 2025), including validation of final data transfers, final system configurations, final testing, and user support; contribute to documentation of business rules/requirements for new and existing applications.

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, or significant related work experience required.

Salesforce Admin Certification required and up to date, or 3+ years of SFDC (Salesforce Dot Com) Administration experience.

Experience in the non-profit/trade association work environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational skills and a proven history of responsibility and follow-through in resolving technical issues.

Strong understanding of the customary Salesforce data architecture and data relationship capabilities and limitations.

An aptitude for using Salesforce to provide creative solutions to business challenges and opportunities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues accurately, identify root causes using innovative thinking, and recommend process improvements.

Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, listening with proficiency to communicate complex IT terminology to non-IT professionals.

Position Designation: Business Continuity - indicates that the role is critical to business operations and may be called upon to be present in the event of an emergency or crisis.

This role is eligible for telework.

Telework and remote work eligibility is subject to NAEYC's Telework and Remote Work Policy.

Hybrid policy requires one day per week onsite in Washington, DC office.
